Our hotel in Kigali was quite posh by Rwandan standards. It had showers (but either freezing cold are scalding hot and little or no water pressure) and a connection to the Internet). We stayed here the first 2 and last 2 nights of the trip.
The mosquito nets were essential but not my friend. I felt very claustrophobic and hot underneath them but. But after the first night of waking up to the buzzing of biting skeeters, I slept under one... most nights. I took my anti-malaria pill every day and wore my 100% deet repellent and ditched any fragrance to avoid malaria.
