...She was strong enough to chase the, "happily ever after," and smart enough to know that, sometimes, stopping to enjoy the "happily right now" was pretty good too... Here you will find highlights of my life. My crazy little thing called life...

Borrego Bound
Borrego Springs has a long and colorful history. The village of Borrego Springs is uniquely surrounded and protected by the amazing 600,000 acre Anza Borrego Desert State Park. It is the only desert community in San Diego and the nearest stoplight is fifty miles away. Borrego Springs is California's first Dark Sky Community. There are no big box or chain stores. The slower, uncomplicated pace, the scenic beauty and the human scale of Borrego combine to produce a rustic, authentic desert experience.

There you will see him, just as he told you.” And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them ..."
Mark 16
My sister Janice, Brother-in-law Mark, nephew Andrew and my parents joined me for Easter Service with Saddleback Church's FUEL (formerly FUSE!) Service.
I suckered them into a, "family portrait." It's the Southern California "Hughie" (and Graffius) folk.We had a low key enjoyable Easter day. Church followed by a little Masters watching, card playing, fillet mignon and salmon eating. I did miss the Easter baskets, the obligatory egg hunt and the chocolate bunnies... sigh... I'll just have to wait until I have my own little ones. Someday...
