Happy 15th Birthday Mickey!

Today is Mickey MooMoo's 15th Birthday. While she was at rehearsal for Annie her mom Rachel and Jodi and I were preparing a spa night / ice cream sundae night surprise.

A little pampering while listening to Broadway music, drinking a coke AND having an ice cream sundae... not too bad of a way to celebrate a birthday!

Love you, Mickey!

Looking forward to continue to stalk you in all of your debuts on the stage! Up next Annie at Huntington Beach Playhouse!

The Grinch at the Pantages Theatre

I'm loving the tradition of seeing shows at The Pantages. I've had the chance to see several shows this year and am excited for the 2010 lineup! Tonight Mike, Mickey Rachel and I saw The Grinch. It was fun to see this heart warming holiday classic!

Rachel and Mickey were a bit envious. The "cheap" seats that Mike and I had were upgraded to the second row orchestra! We always joke that the theatre gods are always hooking us up!

The gang ~ Rachel (yes, this is your good side!) Mickey, me and Mike

I have to sport the glasses now for distance. Thank you thirties!

The girls!

Next up? The Color Purple!

Rachel and Mickey's Christmas Hula Show

Mickey singing Mele Kalikimaka

Mike and I went to Rachel and Mickey's Hula show to kick off the Christmas season! They are part of the Halau Ka Makani Komohana in Huntington Beach and had performed their Christmas Ho'ike island style.

"Hula is the language of the heart and therefore the heartbeat of the Hawaiian people." King David (Kâwika) La`amea Kalâkaua.

Rachel is the middle dancer.

Shake, shake, shake...

A little Tahitian hula!

Legally Blonde ~ The Musical... OMG, OMG, you guys!

It was Pantages Theatre Date night tonight! Nash, Rachel, Mickey and I enjoyed a Reese Witherspoon classic on the stage! Legally Blonde ~ The Musical is a fluffy pink, light hearted musical that's a lot of fun. Elle would say, "I double pinky Delta Nu swear, you'll love it!" It took me back to my Delta Delta Delta days. Giddy lovesick girls. I, however, did not find my Warner. Sigh. :O)

Me and my pink feather boa (there was a sea of pink!), Nash and Rachel

Mickey hearts Elle Woods! You can quote me on this: Mickey will be starring in Legally Blonde circa 2013.

Nash and I were seated in front of a woman who, no joke, was hacking up a lung the whole first act. She may have been coughing the second half too, but we moved to the front so can't say for sure! No swine flu yuckies for these kids!

We ate dinner at Kung Pao Kitty again. If you want a great business plan open a killer restaurant near The Pantages. They've got nothin'!

Next play date? WICKED!
