HaPpY hAlLoWeEn!

I spent Halloween with Carolyn and her kids. We had a lot of fun among the masses at the Halloween Happening at their Church. Way fun!

I snapped a few photos. It's going to be a Hippy HAPPY Christmas Card this year!

This one is my favorite

MEEEOOOOOOWWWW!

Diva Black Kitty (I know that I lost points for little originality)

Elizabeth and Robbie

Elizabeth's a sweetie!

Robbie's fro was the biggest I've ever seen!

These twins were Thing 1 and Thing 2. I love the blue tutus!

Here's our junior high "professional pic."

Much better.

I went from booth to booth with Elizabeth. I only confiscated a portion of the loot.

Cindy Lou Hoo was my favorite costume of the night!

A blast with my past ~ Mississippi with Eva and Kathryn!

Eva, Kathryn and I met at HOPE PRES Church when I lived in Memphis. We were in the same Sunday School class and hung out quite a bit. We had a little reunion tonight and went to Tunica to hit the casinos and grab dinner!

Kathryn and I. We were all in stitches sharing our dating debacles. Eva is married now (she had to go and leave us to fend for ourselves!) but left the evening feeling grateful that she's no longer in the game. "Hate the playa' not the game!"

Eva and Kathryn

The three amigas...

We played a slot or two (and Eva was the only one that won!) and ate dinner at Paula Dean's Restaurant. The company was better than the food!
Thanks for a great night, Eva and Kathryn. We need to make this a tradition!

Memphis with my girls!

I'm in Memphis this week! This means time with my sweet Goddaughters, Taylor and Brittnee... and some work too!!! :O)
Taylor and I woke up bright and early and met Tommy at Church this morning in Germantown. Tommy was a bit worried that Taylor might be a little shy and might be uncomfortable in Sunday School. Um... he must have forgotten that Taylor is a mini me... she never meets a stranger!
Imagine how Tommy was to find Taylor doing her super model strut after her Sunday School class!

Tyra or Halle today?

And with Katherine, her BFF for the day... AND the Pastor's daughter. I told you, being social is NEVER an issue for Taylor!

It was great to visit Tommy's Church. They are such a supportive community for him and I enjoyed meeting some of his friends and Pastor.

We ate lunch after picking up Brittnee, (sleeping Beauty!) Of course, the girls played with my camera and traded off singing along with my iPod.

Brittnee! She turns 14 on Halloween. I can't believe how mature she is. She has a great head on her shoulders, is sweet, helpful and smart too.

I can't be in Memphis without some South in my mouth. We at yummy BBQ at Jim 'Nick's. Memphis BBQ is still my favorite though. I'm just sayin'.

She never stops!

I think a good nap is in order this pm. Happy to be with my girls! LOVE THEM!

Krissy and Joe's Wedding ~ Seal Beach

Today, my family friend Krissy married Joe. They had a beautiful backyard wedding in Seal Beach. I have known Krissy my entire lives, as our dad's were good friends in High School.

Krissy's Dad, Pat officiated the wedding. He performed a very special and meaningful ceremony and wrote a beautiful prayer and blessing.

First kiss as husband and wife

Many friends and families gave speeches.

Beautiful Bride! Krissy wore her mother's wedding dress. Her parents have been married for over 45 years. Very special.

Here are my parents with Carla, Pat and Perry. They all went to Washington High School in Los Angeles, California. They graduated circa 1959 and have remained friends, all of these years.

Pat and my dad. They served on Student Council and played baseball together.

Grant ~ Cheers to Aunt Krissy and Uncle Joe!

The food was Italian and oh so yummy!

Dylan thought so too!

Amy and I

The cake was tasty too. It was my first experience eating a Vegan cake. :o)

Can't you tell that they're up to no good? The boys and Mark, my brother-in-law.

Alfa Jerk, played for a few dances. They are good friends of Krissy and Joe.

Congratulations, Krissy and Joe. Thank you for including me in your special day!
