Goin' fishin....

What a wonderful day! I tagged along to Fishin' Galore, a day dedicated to celebrate St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event is held annually in Clinton, Louisiana. Hundreds of volunteers come together to show kids and their families a great time.

It was so fun to watch Mason enjoy all of the different activities. He was really into the Home Depot booth. His daddy is a mechanic, so he got a kick out of pretending to tune up a car too!

Mason loves to color. He says, "payurr," the cutest way. He made a couple of crafts for his mama from Mother's Day. He used Zoie's favorite colors, yellow and purple. (GEAUX TIGERS!)

Memphis chilled with Belle and Cinderella. Very fitting as Belle was Zoie's favorite princess.

Mason was very good with the animals in the petting zoo. Last year a goat bit him at the circus! He appears to be over that now....

Kissing the horsey...

Petting the camel

And giving the goat some love (and keeping his fingers away!)

Itty bitty chicks

WHOA!

Next, were rides with the Louisiana Highway Patrol on their motorcycles.

Mason wanted to get his hair dyed blue... and he did not want to stop looking in the mirror!

He sat so still while his face was painted. That's asking a lot for an active 2 year old, but it's something that he really wanted, hence the cooperation!

This is one of Chastity's favorite pics of Mr. Mason. He looks a lot like his big sissy! Especially with those big baby brown eyes!!!

Blowin' bubbles...

I passed on the helicopter rides ~ overwhelming jet fuel aroma and a bumpy ride combined with cajun cuisine and "fair food" just didn't seem like the best combo.

Momo Monkey laughed at this one... He looks like he's doing an Elvis impression. And Momo Monkey LOVES The King.

We took a carriage ride pulled by Clydesdales around the lake.

Mason's still not tired. And ready for a little 4x4 adventure!

The girls ~ Momo Monkey, Chastity and me... wishing that Zoie was here with us today! She attended one time and then passed away two months later.

Memphis is such a mellow baby love.

Mason scored a Diego fishing pole and fished for the first time.

What a cutie!

We honored Zoie with a balloon release. It was tearful and special. Mason yelled, "Hi, Sissy! I hope you like da ballooooons!"
